1st week Home with Addie Grace!

First Doctor's Visit!

From Drop Box
A Little 2 a.m. playtime...still jetlagged and learning when to sleep!
From Drop Box
Uh-Oh....She found Daisy's "Bling"! Daisy is so sweet with her. She comes up to her slowly, and every now and then gets a lick at her toes! Addie Grace just watches her and knows every time she comes in the room! She is still trying to figure out the cat. Kit was locked in Addie's closet meowing as she was trying to sleep...she thought that was funny!
From Drop Box
She loves the pool with her daddy! This was her first time in since we got home 1 1/2 weeks ago!

I am so glad I had my camera...She is getting used to her car seat...she doesn't like to sit back or be strapped in, but this time she gave in, took her socks off and is demonstrating a mean "Chinese" splits for us! She's such a show-off.
From Drop Box
She is doing really well. She has shown so much improvement in the 3 weeks we've had her. This morning we had a specialist from TN early intervention services come out and evaluate her. She actually scored high, and didn't qualify for any development assistance right now!
She now will play on her own in the exer-saucer that Mimi & Papa bought her, and she sits in her swing, and the "Bouncer" that hangs from the doorway from the Penroses...she does a little "Riverdance" in there! She is babbling and laughs out loud! She is always smiley and loves to gurgle and stand up while holding my thumbs! SHE loves people and loves to be passed from one person to the next!
She still isn't crawling, but we put her on her tummy and encourage her to move! SHE doesn't mind the challenge!
She is now eating all American formula, and eats baby food great! and seriously...not only did God make TOYS..He made CHEERIOS! She can't put them in her mouth yet, but enjoys being fed them like a little bird!
AND....she sleeps THROUGH THE NIGHT!!! 9 hours! and 2 naps in the day! LOVE IT!

We are heading to a new pediatrician today for a consult. We are hoping for a better outlook and some encouragement as we work with helping her master skills.

I love the picture in the car seat doing the splits! We can't wait to meet Addie Grace and steal a few kisses from those sweet cheeks! I've been waiting to meet this child since the first time I met you and Ken! SO happy for y'all!
