It is still a little early for predictions, and we haven’t heard anything about July referrals yet, but this is the first time on Rumor Queen (China Adopt Talk), that the families in my group (March 2006 LID) have been positive! The buzz is that we could have a referral from China as early as November, and could be home with her in January!
With the Olympics in Beijing this year (8-8-08 at 8:00 - 8 is their lucky number!!!), those who just received referrals will have to wait until the Olympics are over to travel. It’s a bummer, but it’s the agencies decisions because everything will be so expensive and there will be no hotel rooms!!! But China has not stopped referring babies because of the Olympics…Great News!
Still haven’t put the crib together yet, though! Which means, if you’re in town and need a place to stay, come now while there’s still a bed!!!
